More Power
FireDos monitors are a new generation of monitors, not just by their appearance. The distinstive octagonal, ‘Oval Flat Design’ of their elbows are the result of a sophisticated, flow-optimized water way design. This design ensures a homogeneous, low-turbulence flow pattern that provides:
- Maximized flow rates (up to 15,850 GPM) and low pressure losses
- Maximized stream reach. The standard, multi-purpose nozzle provides reaches up to:
- 15,850 GPM – Up to 445 ft @ 115 psi nozzle inlet pressure
- 5,000 GPM – Up to 351 ft @ 115 psi nozzle inlet pressure
Features and Advantages
FireDos incorporates a wide range of features that provide for optimized, reliable service. These include:
- Manual and remote operated
- Mobile and stationary mounting
- Customizable PLC and Can Bus based remote control systems
- Modular nozzle and monitor designs
- Swiveling axes with self-locking worm gears and enclosed, permanently lubricated bearings
- Nozzles that provide:
- On the fly adjustment of flow rates, as well as stream patterns
- Dual agent capability (dry chemical and foam-water)
- A compact, low height design that saves space and reduces mounting flange reaction forces
